Mitsubishi Triton Kicks Up Excitement With DonnaVentura-Malaysian Grand Raid 2007
Kuala Lumpur, 19 July 2007 - Keeping to the spirit of adventure and displaying its Dakar Rally heritage on the forefront, four specially painted red Mitsubishi Triton will today embark on a grueling 100-day overland expedition covering over 20,000 kilometers around 8 countries in South East Asia.
Named Donnavventura - Malaysian Grand Raid, the expedition will begin in Malaysia and thereafter to Thailand, Myanmar, Laos, Cambodia, Vietnam, Singapore and Brunei before returning to Malaysia for the final leg of the expedition in October.
Donnavventura, Italian for “Adventurous Ladies”, is a highly rated Italian travel reality TV show with a cast of six young and adventurous Italian ladies, carefully handpicked from over 40,000 applicants. The show will document the life of six selected Italian ladies who are set to embark on a 100-day journey across foreign lands as they pursue to become a travel journalist.
Donnavventurahas scaled new heights every season and this year will bring new challenges for the six new protagonists of Donnavventura in Malaysia, bringing Donnavventura to its 19th year in production.
This latest installment of Donnavventura is supported by the Ministry of Tourism Malaysia. The Honorable Datuk Seri Tengku Adnan Bin Tengku Mansor, Minister of Tourism, Malaysia officiated its flag-off session today.

Other countries in our years of production of Donnavventura also include the United States of America, Canada, The Amazon, Morocco, Tunisia, Patagonia and South America.
