Tuesday, 19th June 2007, at the invitation of Sepang International Circuit (SIC), Supercharged rolled up to Malaysia legendary race track to get a taste of the newly resurfaced track on Sepang International Drive and Race Academy’s (SIDRA) race prepared Porsche Cayman S.

The day began with a light refreshment at our arrival, followed shortly by a brief introduction and presentation from Mr. Azhar Ghazali, SIC National Press Officer; Mr. Azhar Abdul Rahman ,SIC Circuit Manager and Mr. Tommy Lee, General Manager of SIDRA.

Then the fun began, we were raced around the newly laid 5.543km of tarmac by Malaysian’s well known racers, such as Tengku Djan Ley, Tommy Lee, Karamjit Singh, Firhat Mokhzani and Faidzil Alang.  All of whom have been champions of Malaysia’s reknown 12 hour Merderka Millennium Endurance Race.

We had a great fun, exhilarating and thoroughly enjoyable ride around the superbly resurfaced track at full race speed in beautifully prepared Porsche with professional racers.
